CAR LESSONS

CAR (C Class) Licence is classed as:

Any motor vehicle no more than 4.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), which carries up to 12 adults including the driver.
Any implement or tractor or a car-based motor trike.

Macquarie can provide driving lessons throughout Sydney metro. We have a range of automatic and manual cars as well as male and female driving instructors.

We can assist you in obtaining the licence you prefer. Our lessons are individually constructed to suit the requirements of each learner. Lessons can be conducted day or night and even seven days a week. Learners can also be assessed to RTA licencing standard. Lessons can begin from home or any other address you nominate.

We can also provide vehicles to our clients to be used for the RTA driving test (DART - Driver Ability Road Test).

Our aim is to help you pass your test as well as becoming a safe, defensive and courteous driver.

RTA REQUIREMENTS

MACQUARIE DRIVING SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS

	Before the applicant could start their in car training (Lessons) they must obtain the learner's Licence. From any RTA branch.
	Must live in NSW.
	Complete RTA application form (Part of this must be signed by a person who has known the applicant for at least 12 months and holds a current unrestricted drivers licence.
	Must have one primary and one secondary proof of identity. List of acceptable documents in Motor Traffic Handbook.
	Must pass the eyesight test at the RTA.
	Must pass a knowledge test. (45 questions and multiple choice answers. Samples of questions are available in Motor Traffic Handbook)
	Pay the licence fee to RTA.

	Applicant must have a current Learner's Licence with him/her whilst under instruction.
	24 Hour notice of cancellation or 50% fees will be charged.
	Appropriate footwear must be worn.
	Pick up and drop off points can be organised with the driver trainer.
	Must not be affected by alcohol or other drugs.
