Aims:
Designed for drivers who wish to develop necessary skills, knowledge and attitude to obtain a Light Rigid driver's licence
Assessment:
Drivers are trained and assessed against the RTA Competency Standards by RTA accredited assessors. After a required standard of competency has been achieved RTA will issue the appropriate licence.
RTA Road Test:
Macquarie Driving School will train the applicant to undertake a RTA driving ability road test.

Vehicle GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) not more than 8 tonne.
Any towed trailer must not weigh more than 9 tonnes.
Buses not more than 30 passengers including the driver.
Participants must hold a current class C driver's licence.
Be proficient in the use of a manual transmission.
Participants must have completed the RTA LR knowledge test and obtained CBA (Competency Based Assessment).
Learner's Logbook and Guidebook.
CBA Guide book must have been read before starting the training.
Appropriate footwear must be worn.
