Older driver have 2 options they can use to pass their old age test:
1. OLDER DRIVER ASSESSMENT - This assessment can be undertaken in place of the RMS driving test. The assessments are conducted by our friendly instructors who are RMS accredited. Assessments start and finish from your home address or any other location convenient to you. Macquarie can provide a vehicle or you can choose to use your own vehicle, which is quite often more comfortable for the driver, and testing to be conducted in your local area.
Our assessments consist of a training period with a rundown of good and bad habits, feedback, breaks then the final assessment.
RMS DRIVING TEST - Conducted from an RMS motor registry by the RMS staff. There is no training or feedback provided by the RMS, it is simply a driving test.
Driver training for applicant's 85 years of age or older who are getting ready to undertake their practical RMS driving test.
Macquarie Driving School now conducts older driver assessments.
Pickup from any location is available. Testing is conducted within your local area using either Macquarie Driving School supplied vehicles or if preferred a vehicle of your choice may be used.
